Articulation Carrier Phrases Sentence Strips
Do you need a VISUAL, hands-on way to get your students to use their articulation target words at the phrase level? Over 190 articulation sentence strips for articulation activities at the word, phrase, or short sentence level. These are not traditional carrier phrases; they are SOUND LOADED articulation phrases so you can choose a phrase that includes your target sound in it!
Use these sentence strips with mini objects or picture cards (not included) to have your students practice their target sounds at the phrase level.
These strips came about because I wanted to create something for students who needed a little more visual support in order to remember the carrier phrases! I also needed a way to make sure I had carrier phrases with the target sounds already included so I wouldn't have to think of any on the spot. And I like to use them for double duty - target MLU expansion as well!
Phrases are organized by phoneme included in the phrase!
