Regular Plural Nouns for Speech Therapy

$6.00

Work on the basic concept of plural nouns and the final /s/ sound and final /z/ sound in your speech therapy activities with these regular plural noun task cards. Use these cards as a grammar activity or an articulation activity...or both! The 75 word pairs stimuli cards can be used in a ton of different speech therapy activities! Sort them, match them, hunt for them. The possibilities are endless.

THE RESOURCE INCLUDES:

  • 75 plural noun pairs separated by ending sound (/s/, /z/, or "is") so you can target language and speech at the same time!

  • tons of visuals (including sentence strips and sorting mats) to work on receptive and expressive concepts as well as to increase complexity as needed

  • 3 teaching pages for explicit instruction on plural nouns

  • label to help you organize materials

I created this resource because I needed a way to target both speech and the concept of plural nouns at the same time. That is why the cards are organized by ending sound. You can focus on one sound at a time, or you can increase complexity and target multiple ending sounds at once.

You can also have students simply listen to the targets and sort them by the ending sound they hear for a phonological awareness and auditory discrimination task!
